''Kinderbücher sollten Spiegel der Welt und Fernster zur Welt zugleich sein. Ein Spiegel, mit dem Kinder lernen können, ihr Leben zu reflektieren, und ein Fernster, welches ihnen die Chance gibt, das Leben eines anderen Kindes kennenzulernen.''

Dayan Kodua

Finally after a year of planning & postponement due the Pandemic we were able to host the Ghanian born German actress, children's book author, speaker & publisher Dayan Kodua as she read her book 'Odo' to the kids who had attended the book-reading. 

The Pandemic affected everyone with the vulnerable community especially young girls being affected the most. With schools being closed & everyone having to stay at home, many young girls for whom schools feel like the 'safest place' for them were exposed to even more dangers deeming from poverty & it's many negative exposure. This is where organizations such as 'Linda Kesho ' came in as the continue to provide a safe space for these vulnerable girls despite the challenges brought heightened by the Pandemic. 
We are more than honored to have played a part in their efforts with our monetary contribution & hope to continue supporting these young girls in every way that we can.

Es war uns eine Ehre, Teil des 'Africa Food Festival' zu sein, das von 'Afro X Pop' zum ersten Mal in Hamburg organisiert wurde. Das Festival fand am vergangenen Wochenende auf dem M Love Campus in der Hafen City statt und wurde von vielen Menschen besucht.

We were honored to be a part of the 'Africa Food Festival' organized by 'Afro X pop' for the very first time in Hamburg. The Festival took place last weekend at the M Love Campus in Hafen City & was attended by lots of people.

Wir waren Gastgeber einer der größten afrikanischen Bands. "Sauti Sol" aus Kenia traten zum ersten Mal live in Hamburg in der "Fabrik" auf.

Essen spielt eine sehr wichtige Rolle in der Geschichte der Schwarzen und es war uns eine Ehre, Teil des Vortrags von 'Isaiah Lopez' in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Reeperbahn Street Festival im Jahr 2018 zu sein.
